Visura is delighted to sponsor the Authority Collective’s People of Color Photo Editors Salon at National Geographic Headquarters on Saturday, January 18, 2020. This all-day networking event and strategy session is an opportunity for visual storytellers interested in becoming photo editors to connect with working editors, including Shweta Gulati of National Geographic, Laura Beltrán Villamizar of NPR, Ariel Zambelich of The Intercept, and Danielle Scruggs and Kainaz Amaria of Vox. The discussion will cover critical photo editing practices and the importance of diverse perspectives in visual decision-making.

This event is sponsored by Visura with the support from the International Women's Media Foundation's Howard G. Buffett Fund for Women Journalists.

This is a closed event. Interested participants can email authoritycollective@gmail.com.
